To give a helping hand to teachers everywhere, the London Teacher Training College is offering a FREE online self-study, Foundation Certificate in TEFL course.

The course is a 15 hour study package which will teach you all you need to know and more for that first job in EFL teaching or refresh your knowledge if you are already a qualified EFL teacher.

The way the course works

The Dip TEO has six modules which are divided into two sections each. The first section gives a broad overview of the topic and the second section, the Online Workshop, deals with putting your teaching into practice online. The ethos of the course is learning by discovery so you will find the course challenging but this will enable you to progress independently after the course has finished. As with all learning, you will keep evolving and developing your skills.

The Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools (RQF) qualification is for learners who already work in a school environment.

It is suitable for individuals who want to develop their knowledge and understanding of the role of a teaching assistant, classroom assistant or support worker in a school who offers specialist support.

Learners must complete 44 credits from 14 units.

The TQUK Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools provides learners with the opportunity to develop skills, knowledge and understanding to enable them work in the following roles; teaching assistant, classroom assistant, learning support assistant, additional needs assistant, pastoral/welfare support assistant, bilingual support assistant or foundation stage assistant. The roles must be under the direction of the class teacher, whose lesson planning and day-to-day direction set the framework within which the individual works.

There is a focus on lesson planning and practical teaching skills which will equip those who are new to the profession and inspire those who already have some experience.

This course is ideal for those who wish to gain a professional qualification as a Teaching Assistant

The Diploma in Teaching English To Speakers Of Other Languages is specifically designed for those who are interested in teaching English as a second or foreign language.

TheĀ  Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages is at LEVEL 6 and consists of 372 hours study.

This course is a flexible alternative to DELTA or Trinity College London Dip TESOL courses but enables you to study at your own pace and at times which suit you.
